Serving Greer, SC

Local towing and roadside help for Greer and Greenville County, typically on scene in 40-50 minutes.

Why Greer Drivers Choose Us

When you're stuck on the side of the road in Greer, you want a truck moving toward you, not a call center. Here's what Greer drivers get every time they call: 24/7 dispatch, every day including holidays, upfront, honest pricing quoted before we dispatch, and local operators who know the streets and back roads.

Greer is the farthest town in our regular coverage area, about 16 miles north of Mauldin through Greenville and out toward the Spartanburg County line. With just over 35,000 residents, it's grown into one of the bigger cities in our territory, driven in part by its spot between Greenville and Spartanburg along I-85. We still take calls here, mostly longer tows and highway-related jobs near the interstate, along with the standard mix of dead batteries and lockouts in town. Greer connects most directly to Greenville in our coverage map, so a Greer call is usually paired with other stops along that stretch. Because of the distance from our home base, plan on a 40 to 50 minute response.

Greer Depot

The Piedmont & Northern Railroad built the Greer Depot in 1913, and its second floor doubled as Greer's city hall until the 1930s. It's the only surviving example of the railroad's two-story depot design and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today it anchors Greer Station, a downtown historic district redevelopment launched in 1998 that traces back to the city's 1873 origins as a Piedmont & Northern Railroad flag stop.

Trade Street

Trade Street runs through the heart of Greer Station, Greer's downtown, and has been the city's commercial spine since the late 1870s, when general stores and shops clustered around the Public Square and along Trade Street during the town's early cotton-trade years. Many of the original wood-frame buildings were replaced with brick commercial structures in the early 1900s as textile mills like Victor Cotton Mill and Franklin Mill drove the local economy, and a lot of that architecture still lines the street today. Trade Street itself reopened in 2020 after a major reconstruction that removed the curbs and turned it into a shared street, and the restaurants, shops, and string lights now draw steady evening and weekend foot traffic that keeps our Greer calls busy after dark.

FAQ from Greer customers

Is Mauldin Towing & Roadside Assistance licensed and insured?
Yes. Mauldin Towing & Roadside Assistance is fully licensed and insured. We carry general liability coverage on every tow.
How much does a tow cost?
Every tow is different, so we do not post a flat number online. We give you a clear, upfront quote by phone before we ever dispatch a truck. Call (864) 528-1568 for a fast, free quote, and the price we quote is the price you pay.
How fast can you get to me?
Response times vary by exactly where you are located. We always give you an honest, specific ETA on the phone before dispatch, so you know when to expect us before you commit to a tow.
What should I do while I wait for the tow truck?
If you can safely do so, move your vehicle onto the shoulder or as far from traffic as possible, turn on your hazard lights, and stay inside your vehicle with your seatbelt on if it is safe. If you feel unsafe where you are, tell our dispatcher and stay on the line.
Will you work with my insurance company after an accident?
Yes. We can tow your vehicle directly to your insurance-approved shop or to secure storage, and we can document the vehicle condition at pickup to support your claim. We do not bill insurance directly; you will receive an itemized receipt to submit to your carrier.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, debit, and all major credit cards on scene. You will always know the total before we do the work, no surprise charges added afterward.
Are you really available 24 hours a day?
Yes, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Breakdowns and accidents do not wait for business hours, so neither do we.
Can you help if I'm locked out of my car?
Yes. Getting locked out happens to plenty of careful, capable people, it's not something to stress over. Our roadside team can open most vehicles right where you're parked, without damaging the locks or paintwork. Just have some way to confirm the car is yours when we arrive, and in most cases you won't need a tow at all.
Do you serve Greer?
Yes. Greer is part of our regular service area. Typical response time: 40-50 minutes.
Do you charge extra to come to Greer?
No. Greer is inside our standard service radius, so the quoted price is the final price. No travel surcharges.
